Denice Frohman is a poet and performer from New York City. She’s received fellowships and awards from CantoMundo, the Leeway Foundation, the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures, and Blue Mountain Center, and she is a Tin House Workshop alum. Her work has been published in Nepantla: An Anthology Dedicated to Queer Poets of Color (Nightboat Books, 2018), Women of Resistance: Poems for a New Feminism (OR Books, 2018), and elsewhere. A former Women of the World Poetry Slam champion, she has been featured on hundreds of stages, from the White House to the Apollo, and co-organizes #PoetsforPuertoRico.
